Ukraine's prosecutor general submits resignation letter

Yuriy Lutsenko has written a letter of resignation from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

"Yuriy Lutsenko has signed a letter of resignation as prosecutor general, addressed to President Zelensky," spokeswoman Larysa Sargan wrote on Facebook.

Earlier, Lutsenko announced he would resign along with the start of the work of Verkhovna Rada's ninth convocation.

According to Lutsenko, after resignation, he will be taking care of his health and also reporting for questionings by law enforcement.
