Leader of the Servant of the People Party Dmytro Razumkov has been elected chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament.

The relevant decision was backed by 382 MPs out of 419 registered in the session hall, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

Some 26 MPs voted against this motion, while 11 lawmakers did not vote. No one abstained in the vote.
