Stefanchuk elected first deputy parliament speaker

Ukrainian MP from the Servant of the People Party Ruslan Stefanchuk has been elected first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament.

The relevant decision was backed by 330 MPs registered in the session hall, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

Prior to that, Stefanchuk was Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's envoy to the Verkhovna Rada.
