Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has met with Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok to discuss cooperation between the parties regarding the completion of the investigation into the downing of flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine in July 2014, and the relevant trial.
Zelensky thanked the Netherlands for its consistent position in supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, rigorous compliance with the EU sanctions regime against Russia, and non-recognition of the illegal annexation of Ukraine's Crimea by Russia, the Ukrainian president's press service said on October 9.
In addition, the president informed the top diplomat about the security situation in Donbas, as well as about efforts to end the hostilities in eastern Ukraine.
The officials also discussed the interaction of the parties in the implementation of Ukraine's course towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
"The Dutch Foreign Minister confirmed the significant interest of Dutch businesses in enhancing investment cooperation. He also noted the willingness of the Dutch government to continue supporting Ukraine in the implementation of its structural reforms," the press service added.
