Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has proposed that NATO consider Ukraine's inclusion in the Enhanced Opportunity Program (EOP).
"We propose that Ukraine's accession to the NATO Enhanced Opportunity Program be substantively considered. I am sure that Ukraine is ready for shifting to this new level of cooperation," the president said at the Ukraine-NATO Commission meeting in Kyiv on October 31.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine is a consistent and effective partner of NATO, which will continue to contribute to security in the Euro-Atlantic space and beyond.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Kyiv's Mariyinsky Palace is hosting a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Commission today, October 31.
