Poroshenko: War will be over when Donbas and Crimea returned to Ukraine
The war in Ukraine will be considered to be over when Ukraine gets Donbas and Crimea back.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko announced this in an interview with Ukraine's STB TV Channel.
"The war will be over if only Ukraine gets Donbas and Crimea back. How much time will it take? As much as is needed… There should be no compromise in that issue," he said.
"The best scenario for Ukraine is when the war ends and Donbas is returned peacefully," he said.
"We should do our best to make it a reality," he said.
The president reiterated the need that all sides should observe the ceasefire in Donbas.
