Canada calls on Russia to leave occupied territories, release Savchenko

"Canada will repeat: Russia must withdraw from the occupied territories of Ukraine,” Nicholson said during a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.

“Canada remains a loyal friend and ally of Ukraine. We want to help Ukraine on its path of reform. We will discuss how NATO, including with the help of Canada, may assist Ukraine," Nicholson said.
