Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his visits to Estonia and Lithuania will discuss with the countries' leaders countering common threats from the East and exploring common opportunities in the West.

"I am going to visit our good friends and reliable allies – Estonia and Lithuania. We are to discuss countering common threats from the East and [exploring] common opportunities in the West," he said in a public address posted on Facebook.

At the same time, the president expressed hope that the government in the coming days would pay off wage arrears to teachers and doctors.

"But I wouldn't want to leave any sharp issues at home unresolved. I'm convinced the Cabinet in the next two days will pay off wage arrears to doctors and teachers," Zelensky added.

As UNIAN reported earlier, today, November 26, the president is paying an official visit to Estonia.
