Turkish PM: Russia's annexation of Crimea not acceptable
Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu has said Russia’s illegal annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea is unacceptable, and Ukraine needs more support in ensuring its security.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, the prime minister said this at the opening the meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers held in Antalya, Turkey, which is being held on Wednesday and Thursday.
"The crisis in Ukraine has demonstrated how fragile the security situation and stability in Europe is. Ukraine should be supported so that it can better ensure the safety of its citizens," Davutoglu said.
He said that was is equally important not to forget about the Crimean people.
"The illegal annexation of the Crimea cannot be acceptable under any circumstances," Davutoglu said.
