Poroshenko cancels meeting with Polish president-elect Duda in Poland tonight
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has cancelled a visit to Poland during which he was scheduled to meet with Polish president-elect Andrzej Duda and incumbent Polish President Komorowski, according to Poroshenko's press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko.
"A meeting between the President of Ukraine and Poland's president-elect has been rescheduled. It was agreed it would be held later, a meeting with [the incumbent Polish] President Komorowski would take place later as well," Tsegolko said.
Duda's press secretary Joanna Trzaska-Wieczorek earlier announced that Poroshenko had cancelled his visit to Poland, however, she did not elaborate on the reason behind the decision.
In Poland, Poroshenko was planning not only to meet with Duda and Komorowski, but also to attend the Europa League final match in Warsaw where Ukraine's Dnipro team is playing with Sevilla on Wednesday night.
