Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko says Ukraine will open an embassy in Albania as early as this year.

"We believe this will not only be a successful year of cooperation within the OSCE, it will also be a heyday of our relations between Ukraine and Albania," Prystaiko said in Kyiv at a joint press conference with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Prime Minister and Minister of European and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania Edi Rama.

"For example, this year we are going to open our embassy in Tirana. We have long been working on this. We hope this step will help our countries to be closer to each other," the Ukrainian foreign minister added.
