Verkhovna Rada adopted law to organize work of parliament

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted a law on organization and procedure of the parliament’s work.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, 359 lawmakers out of 448, registered in the chamber, voted for this law.

The law stipulates that the organization and procedure of the parliament’s work is established by the Ukrainian Constitution, laws of Ukraine on the status of national deputies, Verkhovna Rada committees, ad hoc commissions of the Verkhovna Rada, and other laws of Ukraine.

The law joins into force since the day of its publication.
