The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine plans to consider the issue of creating a Temporary Ad Hoc Constitutional Commission next plenary week.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Arseniy Yatseniuk has claimed this to journalists today.
According to him, during consultations in parliament, a decision was made to recall the existing draft decree and to propose for the consideration of parliament another draft decree on creating the ad hoc commission.
A.Yatseniuk noted that the draft decree will be considered at the Conciliatory Council’s session on Monday, April 14.
The Speaker stressed that the issue of introducing amendments into the Ukrainian Constitution must not divide political force by their colors. “Amendments to the Constitution are a process of the political unity, and this document must really be a document of national unity”, he stressed.
