President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday approved the country's government defense order for the next three years.

The corresponding decree of February 27 was published on the president's website.

Control over the implementation of the decision by the National Security and Defense Council rests with its secretary Oleksiy Danilov.

The order comes into force from the day of publication.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on February 18, the NSDC adopted the state defense order for 2020 in the amount of UAH 25.848 billion

"According to the adopted document, in 2020, the implementation of the state defense order provides for financing in the amount of UAH 25.848 billion, which is 16% more than in 2019. Fourteen state-owned customers will participate in the state defense order," the NSDC said.
