OU-PSD demands to call general convention of coalition
They warn the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko against one-sides actions
Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense political council demands to call a general convention of the coalition.
OU-PSD bloc Political Council chairman Vyacheslav Kyrylenko claimed this today, according to his press-service.
“We insist that our partners fulfill the coalition agreement, and warn the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko against one-sides actions, which may hamper the unity of the democratic coalition”, he stressed.
“Firstly, we once again turn the attention of the Prime Minister to the fact that the draft law on introducing amendments into the state budget for the year 2008 has not been approved by the government as yet, and has not been submitted to the parliament, while, in line with the law, the government should have done this as early as till March 1”, V.Kyrylenko stressed.
“Secondly, we demand the government, at last, to dismiss Communist Olha Ginzburg from the post of the State Archive Committee. She not only does not have any humanitarian education, but also is carrying out active anti-Ukrainian activities on the post, with persecuting famous archive specialists and announcing intents to classify the information about crimes of the Communist regime”, the OU-PSD Political Council chairman claimed. He recalled that, in line with the coalition agreement, an OU-PSD representative should have been appointed on the post of the State Archive Committee chairman.
“Thirdly, we warn the Prime Minister against repeating attempts to establish the procedure of land auctions with a governmental resolution. This resolution will cause creating another Tender Chamber, which will be busy with land sales”, V.Kyrylenko claimed.
“We will do everything for the unity of the coalition. That is why on Monday we initiate a general convention of the coalition, with assistance of all lawmakers of the two factions, and all government members, including the Prime Minister and the Parliament Speaker. We must carry out a serious and frank conversation”, V.Kyrylenko stressed.
