Ukraine has temporarily stopped issuing visas over the spread of the novel coronavirus.
"Starting from March 14, 2020, Directorate General for Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine will be closed to applicants due to comprehensive quarantine measures introduced by the Government of Ukraine," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said in an urgent announcement on March 16, 2020.
It is noted no walk-in applications will be received up to further notice.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on March 11, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to introduce quarantine across Ukraine from March 12 to April 3.
In this regard, Ukraine temporarily banned the entry of foreigners and closed the international regular passenger service. Borders will be closed from March 17 to April 3.
