Ukraine tops agenda at Australia-Canada Economic Leadership Forum
Foreign ministers of Canada and Australia held a bilateral meeting on Wednesday to discuss a wide array of issues, including the ongoing fighting of Ukrainian forces with Russian-backed insurgents in Donbas.
"Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop and I have discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interests such as the colocation of our diplomatic offices in Ukraine and Laos, the fight against ISIL and violent extremism, as well as recent developments and challenges in the Asia-Pacific region," said Canadian Foreign Minister Rob Nicholson, Ukraine Today reported.
The meeting included signing of a joint declaration for diplomatic 'network' cooperation.
