During his press availability in Donetsk today President Victor Yushchenko said to journalists that he would insist constitutional reform being prepared exclusively by the National Constitutional Council, rather then by the Parliament, as some politicians suggest, according to the President`s press-office.
His position Victor Yushchenko explained with the Council being a discussion ground not only for politicians but for experts and public as well. “The process of preparation, shaping and discussion of the initiative shoud be as broad as possible”, - he said.
President also emphasized that implementing constitutional reform is an urgent task.
“Problems in present Ukrainian politics are the problems with national institutions, which had been shaped through talentless political reform of 2004”, - he noted.
