State Customs Service of Ukraine chairman Valeriy Khoroshkovskiy does not pretend to the Prime Minister’s post as he is convinced that a leader, enjoying the support of parliament, must be appointed as PM.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, V.Khoroshkovskiy claimed this to a news conference today.

“A Prime Minister is a leader of a political force or a coalition of political forces. A Prime Minister, having no support in parliament, is nobody. As of today, Ukraine is on another level of development, and spontaneous figures, who will perform technical roles, they will not develop the state”, V.Khoroshkovskiy said.

He noted that as of today, occupying the post of the State Customs Service chief, he is “on his place”.

***Rumors are rife in journalist circles that V.Khoroshkovskiy will probably be appointed as Prime Minister after the dismissal of Yulia Tymoshenko’s government.
