First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Olexandr Turchynov deems subordination of local administrations and power forces to the Cabinet of Ministers will reinforce the role of executive power within the state. This was announced during an interview for media on Monday, according to the government’s press-office.

Olexandr Turchynov informed that the current week will see amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine initiated. It would enable not only to adopt decisions but to realize them. According to him, in particular, these changes will deal with regulating subordination of local administrations and power structures to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. “Nowadays coercive power structures are subordinate to the Secretariat of the President, however I don’t notice any improvements in curbing corruption and crimes,” he emphasized. First Vice Prime Minister opines, the mentioned changes to the principal law will not only strengthen the position of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine but will give chance to establish order within the country.
