The BYuT faction pledges to keep on blocking the Verkhovna Rada of parliament until anti-inflation laws and staff decisions are adopted before the President’s annual address.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, BYuT faction member Andriy Shevchenko has disclosed this to journalists today.

A.Shevchenko stressed that the faction presses to immediately put on agenda and to adopt in the first reading three anti-inflation laws.

“We believe this is the most important thing to do today”, the lawmaker said.

The BYuT faction also urges a number of staff decisions, including on the State Property Fund of Ukraine leadership.

BYuT lawmakers already began to block the Verkhovna Rada rostrum, though the parliament session has not opened as yet.

As UNIAN reported earlier, today President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko is due to deliver in the Verkhovna Rada his Annual Address to nation about the internal and foreign state of Ukraine.
