Rada to vote for draft resolution recognizing genocide of Crimean Tatars
On November 12, the Verkhovna Rada will vote for the draft resolution on recognition of genocide of the Crimean Tatar people.
On Wednesday, bill No. 2493A was only discussed, as the vote on it will be held tomorrow, because the number of MPs in the session hall is not enough for today's voting.
The draft resolution envisages recognition of the deportation of Crimean Tatars from Crimea in 1944 as genocide of the Crimean Tatar people.
Day of Remembrance of the victims of genocide of the Crimean Tatar people will be May 18.
