The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decided to prolong the work of the first session of the parliament until a new government is formed.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, 245 out of 305 lawmakers, registered in the chamber, voted for this.

In line with the resolution, the first session of the Verkhovna Rada will be prolonged for a period until the new Cabinet of Ministers is appointed, and will be closed on the day when the newly formed government begins its work.
