Results from 541 Kyiv polling stations show incumbent mayor of Ukraine`s capital Leonid Chernovetskiy leading the  election with 36.99% of votes.

According to the data publicized by the Kyiv City Electoral Commission, L.Chernovetskiy is followed by BYuT candidate Oleksandr Turchynov with 18.59%, and former heavyweight boxing champion Vitaliy Klitschko, who has 17.69%.

6.63% of Kyiv residents voted of Victor Pylypyshyn (the Lytvyn’s Block), 4.27% - for Mykola Katerynchuk, 2.56% - for Vassyl Horbal (Party of Regions), 2.44% - for Oleksander Omelchenko, 1.36% - for Oleh Tyahnybok, 1.27% - for Oleksander Pabat. Other candidates received less than 1%.
