Member of Parliament Roman Zvarych is surprised with the statement of his colleague in OU-PSD faction David Zhvania, who said that President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko was not poisoned.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, R.Zvarych claimed this in Kyiv today, answering questions of journalists before the beginning of an OU-PSD parliamentary faction meeting with the President.

“It seems to me, it’s not very logical to say that there was no poisoning. If you think so, you’d better think about your aims before speaking”, R.Zvarych said.

At the same time, he noted: “I do not know what was the purpose of Mr.David when he said this”.

As UNIAN reported earlier, OU-PSD faction MP David Zhvania claimed to Radio Liberty on May 30 that Victor Yushchenko was not poisoned in 2004.

According to him, a certain group of people from his headquarters persuaded that-time presidential candidate to begin to speak about poisoning.

In my opinion, he was not poisoned. First of all, if it were special services, they should have acted more professionally”, D.Zhvania said.

“The acknowledgment of this fact was a colossal mistake of the HQ leadership”, D.Zhvania noted.
