The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the Law “On Introducing Amendments into Some Legislations of Ukraine” with the amendments proposed by President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, 226 lawmakers present at the session voted for it.

After the voting, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Arseniy Yatseniuk and President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, who attends the parliament’s session, signed the law, which forms the revenues part of the state budget.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Law “On Introducing Amendments into Some Legislations of Ukraine”, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on May 23, stipulates excluding provisions on tax, customs, budget, and other legislations, from the Law on the State Budget of Ukraine for the Year 2008, with transferring these provisions into special laws.

The President’s proposals were registered in the Verkhovna Rada on May 31, 2008.
