The Party of Regions faction in the Verkhovna Rada will press for dismissal of the government if it does not submit for consideration of parliament its amendments to the state budget-2008.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, V.Yanukovych said this to journalists after a session of the oppositional government on Thursday.
“This demand (the dismissal of government) may be raised on any day. But as far as we understand, the budget forming law has already been adopted, which gives the opportunity and mechanism for working out amendments to budget 2008”, said V.Yanukovych.
According to his opinion, the government now has no basis for delaying and not submitting the corresponding draft law to the parliament. “The government should be more interested in it than the opposition. They are responsible for it”, added the leader of the Party of Regions.
