Member of Ukrainian parliament (Our Ukraine – People’s Defense Bloc) Yuri Kostenko believes the Party of Regions will keep on blocking the work of parliament until the summer parliamentary holidays.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this in Poltava on June 7.
“The Party of Regions will use the fact that two lawmakers dropped the coalition, and will again block the work of parliament… I guess the parliament will be blocked until the very summer holidays”, Yuri Kostenko said.
He also claimed that, in his opinion, the two lawmakers, who quitted the democratic coalition, dragged Ukraine into another crisis that will lead to a total replacement of the power.
According to him, at present, the Party of Regions and the Lytvyn’s Bloc are holding talks on other formats of the coalition.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on Friday Verkhovna Rada Speaker of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk has read at the plenary session of parliament applications of members of Ukrainian parliament Ihor Rybakov (BYuT) and Yuri But (OU-PSD) about their leaving the democratic coalition.
