Oles Dovhy elected as Kyiv Council chairman

Oles Dovhy has been elected as chairman of the Kyiv City Council of VI convocation.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, 62 Kyiv Council deputies voted for his candidacy.

The voting results voiced by counting commission chairman Anatoliy Chub (the Chernovetskiy Bloc). According to him, 62 deputies took part in the voting. All of them supported the proposed candidacy. At the same time, 55 City Council deputies abstained from voting.

Deputies contgratulated O.Dovhy on his election.

Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetskiy handed flowers to the newly elected Secretary and wished him to remain loyal to all Kyiv City Council representatives.
