As of early June, the number of citizens who absolutely support activities of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko has fallen to the lowest level since he was elected for the post of President.

These are the results of a poll, carried out during May 30 - June 7, 2008, by the Ukrainian Center for Economic and Political Studies named after Oleksandr Razumkov.

According to the results of the poll, only some 6.7% of those polled completely support Yushchenko’s activities. Some 43.3% of respondents support some steps undertaken by the President of Ukraine. At the same time, some 44.3% do not support actions of the Head of the State al all. Some 5.7% of those polled have not determined their mind yet.

According to the results of the poll, some 2.4% of respondents completely support the actions of the Verkhovna Rada, some 48.2% of those polled support some measures of the VR, some 42.9% of those polled do not support the activity of the parliament. Some 6.5% of those polled could not answer the question.

Besides, some 7.1% of those polled completely support government’s activities; some 45.3% of those polled support some measures; some 40.7% of those polled do not support the actions of the Cabinet of Ministers; some 7.0% of respondents could not answer the questions.

The sociologists note that for the first time the rating of V. Yushchenko equaled to the rating of Ukraine ex-President Leonid Kuchma during the last years of his tenure.

2001 respondents aged over 18 years were polled at all Oblasts of Ukraine, Kyiv and Crimea. The error margin makes up 2.3%.
