President swears in new judges

President Victor Yushchenko took part in a ceremony of swearing in newly appointed judges who took up the post for the first time, according to the President`s press-office.

Greeting those present with their designation President stressed that stability in the state and establishment of law supremacy depends much on judges’ corps. Today Ukraine needs fair, professional and patriotic judges, who understand their responsibility before the state and the people.

Victor Yushchenko also expressed hope that with new judges coming to their posts, positive transformations in Ukrainian judicial system would happen. “Let me wish you righteous, honest and professional work at your posts”, - he said to those present.
