"Last week I ordered to substantially increase military salaries in keeping with the budget for 2016, which could give a considerable boost to the contract component of our army," Poroshenko said addressing cadets at Kyiv's Ivan Bohun Military Lyceum on Friday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"The Armed Forces of Ukraine will no longer have troops who will be paid less than UAH 7,000," he said.
