Ukraine's Agrarian Minister sets to resign

Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Oleksiy Pavlenko has submitted to the Parliament a letter of resignation in response to the decision of the political council of the Samopomich Party on recalling him from the Cabinet of Ministers, according to the minister's posting on Facebook.

"I must implement the decision of the faction, which 14 months ago nominated me for the post of the Minister," Pavlenko wrote.

"I have written a letter of resignation, which I have submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The following fate of the application is to be decided by the coalition of parliamentary factions and the Ukrainian parliament," the message reads.
