U.S., UK to equip forensic labs for Ukraine's anti-corruption watchdog
The United Kingdom and the United States will provide the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) with technical assistance under the relevant international agreements, NABU Director Artem Sytnyk said on Ukrainian TV Channel 112, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
In particular, the British government will provide equipment for forensic laboratories, and the United States will provide equipment that will be used for shifting away from paperwork to electronic management of case files.
Sytnyk recalled that a Memorandum of Cooperation between NABU and the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States in joint investigations would be signed in the nearest time.
