Mogherini urges Russia to immediately release Sentsov and Kolchenko

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini has called on Russia to immediately release illegally detained Ukrainian film director Oleh Sentsov and Ukrainian activist Oleksandr Kolchenko.


"Oleh Sentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko, detained and sentenced in breach of international law, should be immediately released and guaranteed a safe return to Ukraine," she said in her declaration published on the official website of the European Council.
