#DUTCHINUA: "People of Ukraine fought for this vision": Dutch MP
A group of Dutch parliamentarians visits Kyiv ahead of the upcoming referendum on the Ukraine-EU association. The seven delegates represent both the political parties which support the agreement, as well as those against it, according to Ukraine Today.
"There can be investments, there can be cooperating, the can be kind of exporting of knowledge, but the main reason I want this agreement coming is for the people of Ukraine. The people of Ukraine, they fought for this vision, it's a moral support, and it's a real support", said Rik Grashoff, Member of Dutch parliament from Greenleft party, on why he supports the association, Ukraine Today reported.
Rik Grashoff also says he saw a lot of progress in reforms in Ukraine: "We learned that Ukraine is taking more measures on anti-corruption that even could think of, so I'm even more convinced of this agreement with European Union."
