Chernovetskiy to remain Kyiv Mayor

Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetskiy confirmed his intent to remain on his post and not to transfer to the Verkhovna Rada.

He claimed this to a news conference in the Kyiv City State Administration today, answering questions of journalists about his plans, as the period, established by the Central Electoral Commission for His registration as a lawmaker, expires on 1 September.
