"Speaking by phone, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande drew attention to the deteriorating health of Nadia Savchenko and called on the Russian leadership to immediately release her as provided by Minsk agreements," the report says.

Among other things, the parties discussed the terms of a visa-free regime for Ukrainians and the results of the Dutch referendum.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on March 22, Donetsk city court of the Rostov region (Russia) sentenced Savchenko to 22 years in prison for the alleged murder of two Russian journalists.
