Yatseniuk calls up extraordinary session of parliament

An extraordinary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will take place on Thursday, July 31.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Arseniy Yatseniuk claimed this today after the session of the National security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
In particular, he claimed that, in line with the Law of Ukraine on Emergency, the Ukrainian parliament has three days to approve the respective decree of President [on declaring 3-months emergency in disaster-hit regions of Ukraine - UNIAN].
Asked how exactly they will gather lawmakers for the session, Arseniy Yatseniuk said he pins hopes for political consciousness of Members of Parliament.
