President spoke with Viktor Yanukovych

Victor Yushchenko and Ukraine’s Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych discussed the current economic situation and the formation of local governments, according to the President’s press-office.

      Then they spoke about the premier’s forthcoming visit to Sochi (Russia). Mr. Yanukovych is going to conduct talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss economic and energy cooperation between the two countries. The prime minister will also take part in an informal summit of the Eurasian Economic Community.

      Mr. Yushchenko and Mr. Yanukovych agreed to meet after this visit.
