Nuland to meet with Russian presidential aide on June 23 – media
Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov is due to meet with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland in Moscow on Thursday, a source in the Russian capital told Russian news agency TASS.
"Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov will hold a meeting in Moscow on June 23 with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland," the source said, TASS wrote.
The U.S. Department of State earlier said that Nuland would pay a visit to Kyiv and Moscow. The meeting is expected to focus on the Ukrainian crisis and the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Victoria Nuland visits Kyiv before her Russian trip, to meet with the Ukrainian authorities and discuss the situation in the country's east, the implementation of the Minsk agreements, as well as bilateral relations.
