Party of Regions leader Victor Yanukovych has yielded to Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko in Top-100 rating of influential Ukrainians by version of Korrespondent magazine due to his inactive work in the opposition.
Korrespondent editor-in-chief Vitaliy Sych said this in an interview with UNIAN news agency.
“Mr.Yanukovych almost did not influence at all the country’s life this year. A real politician, in my opinion, is known by his work in the opposition, when he has no real instruments of power”, V.Sych noted.
According to him, Victor Yanukovych has failed to efficiently work in opposition this year: “he was absolutely passive, while Yulia Tymoshenko has got more instruments of power than Victor Yushchenko [President of Ukraine]”, the expert said.
