The parties discussed current international policy concerns and security issues in the context of the Brexit referendum, according to the statement.

"We will find ways to continue supporting Ukraine in Brexit conditions," the press service quoted David Cameron as saying.

Petro Poroshenko thanked Britain's prime minister for his firm position in support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, the statement said.

The president also praised financial and expert assistance of the United Kingdom in the implementation of reforms and training of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
