Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Ivan Vassyunyk claims that Our Ukraine’s Ministers will not take part in sessions of government because the Our Ukraine –People’s Self-Defense faction quitted the coalition.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, I.Vassyunyk claimed this at the government’s session today.

“The developments on September 2 indicated that the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko, our partner in the coalition, unilaterally refused to fulfill obligations stipulated in the agreement on creating the democratic coalition. It was reflected in a number of non-agreed, and, in fact, unconstitutional decisions, and in the refusal of the BYuT faction to take part in the coalition council’s session. It undermines principles of coalition’s joint activities, and, de-facto, caused its split, and forced OU-PSD to make decision about quitting the coalition”, I.Vassyunyk said.

According to him, basing on these principles, the Ministers who were appointed on the quota of OU-PSD faction consider it impossible to take part in government’s sessions.

At the same time, the Ministers vowed to continue their work in line with the Ukrainian legislation. “We believe that there is still an opportunity to return to an efficient collaboration. The joint activities must be based upon refusing double standards, giving priority to national interests, and fulfilling provisions of the coalition agreement”, I.Vassyunyk claimed.

After I.Vassyunyk voiced the statement, Our Ukraine Ministers left the today’s session of government.
