Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense faction advises not to shift the responsibility for the split of democratic coalition to President’s Chief of Staff Victor Baloha.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, faction leader Vyacheslav Kyrylenko claimed this to a press conference in Kyiv today.

“I propose in this situation not to lay one`s own fault at somebody else`s door”, he said.

V.Kyrylenko pointed out it’s easy to blame somebody in this situation if you cannot do anything yourself. He stressed that Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, for the sake of her distaste for Baloha or any other official, must not split the coalition and betray it with the Party of Regions and the Communist Party. “A strong Prime Minister must not behave like that. If the Prime Minister is annoyed with Baloha’s statement and she is ready to sacrifice the coalition for that, I have a question whether it is a responsible position of a Prime Minister of such a big country”, he said.

At the same time, V.Kyrylenko noted that V.Baloha has not been any member of Our Ukraine since a long time. “All moves of the President’s Chief of Staff are not connected with Our Ukraine”, he stressed.
