President Victor Yushchenko wrote a letter today to Verkhovna Rada Speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk, according to the President`s press-office.
In his letter President expressed to Speaker his concerns about delays in the process of introducing amendments to 2008 State Budget.
According to President Yushchenko the work of the Verkhovna Rada Budgetary Committee, that the draft laws introducing alterations to 2008 Budget had been forwarded to, should be stirred up to elaborate the final draft law as soon as possible.
Beside that President pointed to the fact that additional incomes to the budget would be available from increase of excise for tobacco goods, oil-rent, etc. The abovementioned resources could be used for increasing living standards, stirring up bringing Ukrainian army to contracted basis, balancing finances of NJSC Naftogaz, preparation to holding EURO 2012, etc.
President asked Speaker to consider the abovementioned suggestions during preparation of the final draft law on amendments to 2008 Budget.
