“Our Bloc may unite with the Party of Regions only under condition that aliens will take me on their flying saucer, will carry out illegal experiments on me, and wipe out my memory and mind. There are no other conditions for such a union”. This was Yulia Tymoshenko’s comments on the possibility of coalition with the Party of Regions voiced at an Internet-conference in Ukrainska Pravda. It was in January of 2006.
According to Ukrayinska Pravda, on Wednesday, September 3, a session of the BYuT faction was carried out in the basement of the party office in Turivska street in Kyiv. At the session, the Prime Minister discussed with lawmakers possible variants of her behavior. One of them was to create a coalition called “East and West Together”. Yulia Tymoshenko put it directly that the union with the Party of Regions may be a way to solve the situation.
