Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko is categorically opposed to decrees of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko restricting the movement of the Russian Black sea fleet on the Ukrainian territory.

She claimed this to ICTV television on Monday evening.

According to her, these decrees are contrary to the agreement on BSF signed between Ukraine and Russia.

“I’m categorically opposed to the decrees signed by the President”, the Prime Minister said.

“I’d like to ask, how exactly, in what way, is it possible to restrict?”, Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.

She pointed out Ukraine must not follow Georgia’s experience “when we provoke a conflict with our own hands, and than, as they wrote in the statement of the European Parliament, somebody will give us a disproportional answer”.
