Ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma refutes the information of the Presidential Secretariat that as if this summer he met with Yulia Tymoshenko on the island of Sardinia and discuss political plans with her. He said this in an exclusive interview with UNIAN.
“I read about that on vacation. My eyes were popping out of my head when I read about the Prime Minister’s high treason. I don’t know whether those guys could think out a more absurd thing. I said this to journalists who began to probe into what happened. I told them I don’t comment on bull, including my meeting with Yulia Volodymyrivna [Tymoshenko]. It is merely impossible, considering our old “love”. It was a blunder of the Secretariat. Saying nothing that an official from the Secretariat has no authority to comment on activities of the Prime Minister. Let the Security Service do it, if there are really proofs of the treason”, Leonid Kuchma said.
