As of today, Ukraine has enough of democratic resource to overcome any parliamentary or political crisis.
According to the President`s press-office, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko said this in an interview with journalists of five foreign editions - Die Welt (Germany), Le Monde (France), Panorama (Italy), Gazeta Wyborcza (Poland) and Yomiuri (Japan).
The interview focused on the internal political situation in Ukraine, results of the Ukraine-EU Summit, Ukraine’s NATO aspirations, the situation in Georgia and its influence on Ukraine, and relations with Russia.
The President expressed a belief that the political situation in Ukraine, where, in fact, a new parliamentary coalition was created, will be solved in a democratic way.
“As of today, Ukraine has enough of democratic resource to solve any parliamentary or political crisis. There is no tragedy for democracy. We will find the answer through dialog, through understanding, through compromises, without any doubt”, the President said.
“I guarantee as a President that Ukraine will not leave the democratic way of development”, Victor Yushchenko stressed.
